Title of Project - "Development of Methodology for Indian Evaluated Nuclear Data Library for applications in S & T"
Grant amount - Rs. 17,81,276 /=
Issuing Authority - Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India
Faculty Involved - Dr. J. M. Nair (Principal Investigator) and Mrs. Sangeetha Prasanna Ram (Co-Principal Investigator)
Few lines of description about the Project - Nuclear data evaluation is the result of an artful combination of experimental data/ information, theoretical insight & model predictions, with a stress on how the measured data are analysed through statistical techniques and particularly important role of systematic experimental errors. Proper account for these uncertainties can dramatically alter the evaluated covariance matrices that are part of the evaluated libraries. In this project it is planned to develop a nuclear data evaluation method for cross section data using modern techniques.
