Department of Computer Engineering in association with IIC and IQAC is organising a workshop titled “Innovative Use of AI Tools for Application Lifecycle and Research".

This initiative is designed to offer students practical exposure to AI-powered tools across the entire software development lifecycle—from design to research. Participants will collaboratively build a sample application, EventEase, applying AI at each step.

 Eligibility: SE, TE & BE students of Computer Engineering (Batches 2022, 2023, and 2024)

Workshop Details:

Day 1: Design & Development

• Software architecture, UI/UX with AI tools like Figma AI, Notion AI, ChatGPT

• Hands-on with React and Firebase Auth/Firestore

• Tools: GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, ChatGPT
   

Day 2: Testing & Error Handling

• Unit testing with Jest, E2E automation with Testim

• Tools: CodiumAI, ChatGPT, Firebase Query Testing
   

Day 3: Deployment, Maintenance & Research

• Deployment using Firebase Hosting, GitHub Actions

• Research workflows using tools like Elicit.org, SciSpace Copilot, ZoteroGPT, and Perplexity.ai
   

Each day includes hands-on sessions, live demos, and real-world implementation of AI-assisted workflows.
