A campus cleanup abhiyan was initiated on October 1st, that marked the beginning of series of various other activities to be carried out round the year as a support to this noble national movement. The drive was spearheaded by the members of the Social Responsibility Team (SoRT) of the institute.

 

It took off at 10:00 AM with the Department Heads organizing students and SoRT in-charges for division of work; creating class-wise and floor-wise cleanup teams. Students were encouraged to participate in large numbers and even the teaching as well as non-teaching staff members took part enthusiastically. All students called for pledge “Cleanliness Pledge”.

 

Vigneshwara Lingam, Third Year Instrumentation Branch secured 1st place in Online Poster Competition organized by VES on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

• Cleaned and mopped platform, bridges, roofs and pavements
• Gloves, masks, long and short handled brooms, dustbins donated to the station staff
