E-cell conducted Wantrepreneur seminar on 7 September 2018 at 1.45 in the auditorium. Session helps to provide insight about entrepreneurship and how the entrepreneurs have to struggle in the initial phase. To proceed in this, everybody needs a direction, right guidance and a push. Explaining about upcoming opportunities, professor incharge told how the college plans to introduce Robotics and AI labs in the college very soon, which will surely broaden the domains in which the students can work and gain immense experience. Principal Ma’am interacted with all the enthusiasts present in the auditorium. This initiative and future expected developments in the infrastructure seems to have opened up many opportunities for the wantrepreneurs who aim to work hard and reach new heights.

An intercollegiate event for all undergraduate students to fulfil their Entrepreneurial dreams, with cash prizes of Rs 7,500, was setup. A Student had to come up a team of three and submit their business idea. Judges of this event were Mr. Lavin Mirchandani and Mr. Vijay Talreja, president and founding member of tVEC. THEME: – Technology PLATFORM: – Web / Android 10 teams made it to the final round wherein they pitched their idea in front of the audience and judges, and finally, top 4 teams were selected. While our tVEC team was putting all their heart and soul into the events, Hindustan Times featured our Entrepreneurship Cell on 8th September 2014 to be among city’s top 5 Entrepreneurship Cells.

In this event our guest speaker was Mr. Ajeet Khurana who gave an inspiring seminar on Entrepreneurship. Mr. Ajeet Khurana is internationally known for his contribution to Education. With two decades of experience, Prof Khurana has mentored hundreds of students in India and in the US. His experience in consulting, entrepreneurship, retail, hospitality, training, web technologies, among others, has given him a perspective in all areas of business. A Computer Engineer from V.E.S. Institute of Technology, India and an MBA in Information Systems and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, Prof Khurana is referenced in books across the globe. For his contribution to education, he has been mentioned in top newspapers, radio and TV channels, including The Wall Street Journal, Doordarshan, All India Radio, Times of India, Mint.It was an interactive and fun session, receiving many good responses from the students, as they asked their questions and doubts regarding entrepreneurship.
